Have you ever wondered what is a twitch view bot? The idea behind it is actually quite simple. Basically, this program is a script that runs in the background on your twitch channel, watching for things to do and chat. It will notify you of any view requests that are made or any messages which have been received. This program works directly with the viewer and the admin of your twitch page.

If you are using this service then the software will actually remain running in the background, hidden from view. You will not even know it is there until you try to view your channel and you see this small box appears on the top right corner of the channel dashboard. This small icon will have six icons that will represent your viewer, their names above. Above this, you will see your viewer stats, the viewer name they used to join your channel, the time that they joined as well as any messages they sent and any twitch chat which took place during the time they stayed.
This can all be displayed on your channel dashboard in real-time so that everything is constantly updated. Once the twitch view bot has detected that someone has sent a message or sent a chat request, it will send out a reply to the chatters specified in the command line. If the chatters do not want to receive a reply, or if the chat request was ignored, the bot will close the channel briefly and then open it again when the chatters are available again.
