What is Liposuction?

Liposuction is the process of removing the fat mass accumulated in a certain area of the body with certain surgical procedures. In general, the regions where this Liposuction surgery is most preferred can be listed as follows:

·        Thighs

·        Buttocks

·        Hips

·        Arms

·        Abdomen

·        Neck

What are the effects of Liposuction?

Taking the excess fat mass in the above areas is extremely effective in shaping (or contouring) in these areas. For example, fat mass taken from the face area makes the face look bonier, which can make the person younger.

Looking at the liposuction before after images, it is possible to say that there is a visible positive difference in shape in the areas where the procedure takes place. However, since the process does not resemble a natural fat burning process, the fact that your skin receives fat quickly and it gets rids of this fat with surgical -not natural- way may cause your skin color to fade or your skin to lose its elasticity.
